Our qualified legal practitioners are made up of Solicitors, Qualified Paralegals and Solicitor Consultants. The firm also work very closely with other barristers’ chambers, providing their support to the firm and our low-income clients. SANDRA FOSTER, LLB (Solicitor)

Head of Family Law Department


Sandra is a Solicitor, Head of the Firm, Managing Director and the Supervisor of the Family Law Department. Sandra has over 11 years’ experience working on complex family law cases. 

Sandra is the supervisor, overseeing the Family Law Department in Fosters Legal Solicitors Ltd Sandra has a dual background, which brings her in line with clients who come from various background from the community. 

Sandra is highly experienced and competent in all areas of Family Law and Matrimonial Matters – including children proceedings, divorce, cohabitation matters, financial remedy proceedings, from voluntary exchange of Form E to negotiations and to settlement - Sandra’s expertise is dealing in financial negotiations and financial remedy proceedings. Because of Sandra’s close working relationship with other barristers’ chambers, bringing their expertise to help the firm, Sandra has developed extensive expertise and knowledge in law and practice.

JOHN GIBSON LLB (Solicitor)

Solicitor Consultant [Employment Law Dept]


John Gibson is a solicitor consultant at Fosters Legal Solicitors Ltd, advising clients on various aspects of employment law matters. John is very experienced in employment law matters both contentious and non-contentious. John joined the firm in the middle of 2022 having taken the passion to help the firm undertake advisory and consultative advice for Claimants and Respondents to help the vulnerable.

RIZWAN SALEEM, LLB 

Solicitor Consultant [Immigration Department] 


Rizwan is a qualified Solicitor having attained all his education from the UK. He specialises in Immigration, Nationality and Asylum. His focus has been predominantly family related migration including Human Rights. He has practiced within this area for the past number of years and has joined us recently here at Fosters Legal Solicitors Ltd. He is eager to utilise his experience and expertise with us to assist individuals and families in their Immigration matters. He has represented a vast number of clients over the past few years in various matters and has achieved excellent results along the way. Rizwan has expertise in the following and can assist you with the following;


1. Entry Clearance Applications: (these are applications from abroad by individuals and families wishing to migrate to the UK). These include Spouse Settlement Visas, Child Settlement Visas, Visitor Visas, EEA family permits and other family migration.


2. Further Leave to Remain Applications (extension) – These include applications made from within the UK for an extension following the grant of the initial visas. These are made before the expiry of the current leave/ visas.

3. Settlement Applications – these include Indefinite Leave to Remain Applications for those who qualify to settle in the UK.


4. EEA Applications & EU Settlement Scheme – This includes those who are EEA nationals as well as family members of EEA nationals whom wish to settle in the UK or reside legally in UK. This includes Permanent Residence applications as well as settlement applications. 


5. Asylum – those who cannot return to their home country due to a fear or danger to their life.


6. Human Rights – All application from within the UK based on human rights. This includes those who are currently in the UK without any legal right to remain and wish to remain here legally in order to enjoy all rights of a legal person living in the UK.


7. Appeals and challenges against the decision of the Home Office to refuse an application. Rizwan has vast experience in drafting grounds for appeal and submitting appeals to the Immigration Tribunals in UK.

GEMMA EVANS

Paralegal Caseworker [Family Law Department]

Gemma is employed as a paralegal and case worker within the family department. She has experience in divorce proceedings and financial matters. She has assisted numerous clients over the years with regards to family matters, including divorce and finance and drafted various documents, including divorce applications, Form E’s and D11’s applications.


Gemma has experience in dealing with family finance matters and gained knowledge and experience from working as a legal assistant and volunteering at Support Through Court. 


She has also been involved with Support Through Court, which allowed her to obtain in-depth knowledge and experience of “no fault divorce”. 


She has also attended divorce hearings across a range of courts, including West London Family Court, Central Family Court, Hertford Family Court, and Southend Family Court, gained through volunteering, and shadowing a highly regarded barrister.

SABRINA BRIEN 

Paralegal [Family Law Department]  


Sabrina joined Fosters Legal Solicitors Ltd in January 2020 as a trainee paralegal helping the fee earners in Family and Employment law department. She assists with various aspect of their work involving matrimonial and family matters and at times employment law. Sabrina is now a Paralegal and currently enrolled in a Level 4 Paralegals studying diploma. She is also skilled in the use Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
